Weapons Violations Continue at a Record-setting Pace in Madison

According to the latest statistics shared by the Madison Police Department, shots-fired incidents are up 50% year-to-date compared to 2020 which was a record-setting year.

So far Madison has recorded 79 shots fired incidents with 12 people being struck by gunfire.

In April alone, one person died from a gunshot wound and another was the victim of an attempted homicide.
