Two shots fired incidents occurred last night and early this morning in Madison and Fitchburg.
The first happened in the 2300 block of Allied Drive last night (5/6) at around 9:35pm. A bullet entered an apartment through a wall and then into a room where family members were seated on a couch. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
Then at 1:15am this morning (5/7) Fitchburg officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Pike Drive where multiple callers reported an argument and physical fight that escalated to gunfire. Officers located 5 shell casings near the area where the fight had occurred. There were no injuries and no property damage was discovered.
