MPD Drone Demonstration on April 7th

by Safety Connection

Drones (unmanned aircraft systems, or UAS) help police officers keep our communities safer. They can be used for searching for missing persons, assessing dangerous crime scenes or looking for wanted suspects. They are also helpful for monitoring large crowd events like the Mifflin Street Block Party, sporting events or Halloween on State Street.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 7th at 7pm when you’re invited to see this technology up close and watch a live demonstration by Madison Police. This event will be held at the MPD Midtown Police Station (4020 Mineral Point Road). Refreshments will be provided!
