October 12 (Tuesday) at 10am – MPD East District Coffee with a Cop (In person with a virtual option): Madison Police Neighborhood Officer Howard Payne hosts the MPD’s East District Coffee with a Cop every second Tuesday of the month at 10am. Ask your questions about crime trends, an incident in your neighborhood or just learn more about safety issues in the city. You do not need to live on the east side to participate. (Location: East District Community Room – 809 South Thompson Drive and on Zoom).
October 14 (Thursday) at 6:00pm – Westside Community Conversation: Four Westside alders will continue the series of Community Conversations on matters important to the residents of their respective districts. The second in the series will be an overview of the Mayor’s just-released Executive Operating Budget for 2022. MPD Captain Tim Patton, city Finance Director Dave Schmiedicke and city Budget and Program Evaluation Manager Christine Koh will make up the panel, and you can ask your questions.
