Registration is now open for the 2022 Triad Conference!

This virtual conference will take place each Friday in October (7, 14, 21, 28) with sessions at 10am and 11am via Zoom. You can attend all the sessions, or pick and choose which ones interest you. The fee for the entire conference is $15.

Triad “brings together older adults, law enforcement and the community-at-large to promote safety and the fear of crime.” Here is the description of this year’s conference:

“Dane County Sheriff Kalvin Barrett will kick off the conference October 7 at 10:00 AM speaking about “2022 Peace Keeping.” Following Sheriff Barrett at 11:00 will be a team of presenters from the Madison Area Crime Stoppers to talk about community policing and the partnership between police officers, residents, business and organizations that is necessary for community policing to work. And there are six more wonderful presentations about ID theft, abuse by trusted friends and family, downsizing and hoarding disorder, detection and reporting of abuse in later life, and finally a panel of presenters from Dane County’s Collaborative Stabilization Coalition will talk about their exciting work.”

You find a printable conference flyer and brochure that explains more about the sessions here.
