Register Now for the 2021 Triad Conference (Virtual)!

The 2021 Triad Conference will be held virtually again this year on Fridays in October (1, 8, 15, 22, 29) from 10am-noon. For $15 you can attend all the sessions or pick and choose.

RSVP of Dane County’s Triad program brings together older adults, law enforcement and the community at-large to promote safety and reduce the fear of crime.

Some of this year’s safety-related presentations include UW Law School Professor Ken Streit talking about “Crime, Statistics and Risk of Victimization” and DATCP’s Jeff Kersten will present “Landlord/Tenant Right Under Wisconsin Law.” And panel of consumer protection experts will teach you how to avoid phishing and online scams and online banking fraud, and how to report scams.

The conference keynote speaker on October 1st at 10am will be Paul Greenwood with “Putting the Spotlight on Elder Abuse: A Crime Too Often Operating in the Shadows.”
